Dreams !

One of the things that I really enjoy is sleep, and sometimes when we are sleeping we dream about different things. I think dreams are messages sent from our unconscious and they could be bad or good. I think dreams represent our hopes and fears that we don´t want accepted.

When I wake up not always remember my dreams, sometimes I remember then during the day. I dream in color and sometimes in black and white, but I think it´s most common in color. Some people always dream the same thing, well I don´t have a recurring dream, but something recurring in my drams is that when a dream with people I can´t see their face, it wear because sometimes I know who are the persons but I just can see their body and their typical clothes.

Also there are other kinds of dreams. I mean, thing that we wish for our future.  For example, one of my dreams is know all the places of the world, of course I know that it´s impossible, for that reason is just a dream. But anyway I want travel a lot and talks with persons from different cultures.

The land of pharaohs

 

 

Well, all we know that the World have many beautiful places and I really want to know the entire world, but if I have to choose just one, without thinking I says Egypt. For some people the land of mummies and pharaohs for me it is the best place ever.

I like very much these country, but just like a tourist because its have many interesting place to visit. Its culture is amazing, its history, wonderful and I think if you go to Egypt you could learn many thing and know people from different part and different cultures because it’s a touristic country. Also I like the weather too, I enjoy very much the sun, for that reason summer it’s my favorite season of the year.

But actually I’d don’t like study or live there, the Arabic language is like a limit to do these, so for me Egypt is just a beautiful place that I want to visit some day.

Films and TV !

One of the things that I really enjoy is arrive to my house after a hard day and watch a good film. Yes ! I like very much watch movies and then comment about it with my brother or a friend.  My favorite film is Toy Story. The idea of that movie is original and simple, that is the reason why I like it a lot. Anyway I enjoy all kind of movie, and if I have money I always prefer go to cinema.

About Chilean TV, I think that it’s poor and superficial. The TV programs only show prototypes that in the real life don’t exist.  At the last time I don´t watch a lot TV, I prefer spend my time watching a movie or in Internet.  Time ago, I remember a better national TV, maybe I’m wrong. But, for example before we had “31 minutos” a educational and funny TV program, or the News show it more transcendental information.

This semester is the shortest semester that I have ever had in my life. Acctually I don´t expect learn a lot, because we have only two month of class to pass all the contents. Most of peolple say that it enough, but I really think that is impossible learn all the contents like in a normal semester (6 months). This term I have to took four diferent subject. one elective course  and english. The elective course call Libertad de Expresión with Faride Zerán is my favourite course at the moment. I like it because we talk about actual thing and discuss about it. Also the teacher is very good. I learned a lot with her last semester and her class is one of the most interesting class that I have ever had.
Finally I think that studying in summer it´ll not be a good thing because is very unconfortable stay in class the hotest months of the years.

We all love the Free Time =) !!

   People always says that the best moment is the free time. It´s when we can do our favorite activities, visit our family and other thing that we enjoy, or just do nothing.

When I was in the school I always expected the weeekend, that was my free time and I enjoyed very much, because I could meet my friends, my grandparents, cousins, and everyone who are important in my life. I have many free time when I was in the school.

    Now, things are change, the University required more time, I have to read a lot, makes many work and pass almost all day here, because my house is very far and when I have free hours between one class and another I must wait inside. That kind of thing makes more difficult organize my time.

    Anyway, meet with my best friends and spend time with their doing different things is my favorite activity, but the last time I saw their, was two weeks ago, because we all must to study a lot and it´s very hard that all we have a common moment to get together.

    So now, when I have free time I try to meet my friends, if I culdn´t I visit my grandparents, rest a lot and play with my brother. Listen music or just do nothing are one of my preferences after an exhausting week

    Finally I always think that the people should have more free time, I mean, more leisures hours. For me that is imporant because in that hours the people could have more time to develop the areas that they like. This makes more people happy.

My favorite gadget !!

Actually I don´t like very much the technology because I think it is important but not completely necessary in my life. Anyway I enjoy, like everybody some of these items. For me one of the thing that I really like to do is to listen to music and the mp3 is a one of the technological device that makes it possible. This is the reason why the mp3 is my favorite gadget.

Also I like it because you can save in its memory all the music that you like and the important thing that you want to keep in it.

I´ve have had like two or three mp3 in my life, because always I miss them or broke them, but the last one I have kept it for more time than the others. My mother gave it to me two years ago in Christmas and said that this was the last mp3 that she wolud buy me.  

I use my mp3 every day, especially when I travel from my house to the University or from the University to my house. I used also when I try to sleep in the night.

If  I don´t have my mp3 maybe the travel to the university would be less fun. But some times ago I was without it and I realized that in the begin it was sadder because many thing became more boring, and after a while you see that it isn´t truly necessary. In fact sometimes when I travel I don´t want to use it and I prefer read or just look the landscape.

The Whitest Boy Alive !!

One of the group that I really enjoy is “The Whitest Boy Alive”. This is an German band, born in Berlín in 2003. They are recognize like a electronic based band, but not all they song are just electronic, they mixed it with other styles like indie and pop.

I knew this band in a radio program that presented the best of their music and some of their history, the program is called “Fina Selección” and talks about different kind of singers and band. Time ago I´ve heard one of their song called “1517” in a FIFA game. I like it immediately but in that time I didn´t know the name of the group.

They visit our country this year in february and played in Municipal Theatre in Valparaíso with Javiera Mena, I couldn´t go in that moment, so I really hope they arrive again soon, but this time in Santiago to see then for first time.

The band was formed by four members; Erlend Oye (guitar and vocal), Marcin Oz (bass), Sebastian Maschat (drums) and Daniel Nentwig (piano rhodes and crumar), and they have two albums: Dreams (2006) and Rules (2009).

Both albums are very similar, but in my opinion the best is Dreams, because its songs have more changes and are more different from each. Finally my favorite song is Inflation for the changes that it have.

A different newspaper !!

El Ciudadano is a chilean newspaper founded in the Ríos Region in march 13, 2005. This newspaper is part of the "Red de medios de los pueblos" (RMP), that is a citizen organisation who is form by diferent kind of mass media, like radio, internet, print and tv in all national territory. The RMP figth for the free expression rigth and search the democratization of the comunication.
The people who created that medium is a group of young adult who believe that the comunication is like a tool to change the society.
This isn´t my favorite website but I think that is very important for the national press.  The way that their talks about any kind of topic is different to the official media, it is a style more independent. Anyway I like the way that they write because many times they represent the opinion of the popular and media class, and I think that in our case is the most of the people.
El ciudadano is directed by Bruno Sommer Catalán and Sebastián Larraín Saá and althoug the newspaper just have five years old is a important medium that today sells copies in more than 5 thousand stores.

My favorite movie...

 Toy story is the name of three USA`s animation movies produced by Pixar Animation Studios. The trhee movies was characterized by Tom Hanks (Woody) and Tim Allen (Buzz Ligthyear), and talks about the adventures of the Andy´s toys.
The first part of the saga the mains characters, Woody and Buzz, wasn´t very friendly but in the developmend of  the movie they begins to build a great friendship with the other toys. In the second part a bad owner of a toys store stole Woody, but all his friends rescued him. The third and finally part shows when Andy is an adult and have to go to the University, so he have to leave his toys. That is my favorite part because it shows the things that happen with Andy´s toys and how their friendship was growing. In end the movie is very emotional but I will not talk about it, because I want that you watch it.
The movies was acclaimed for the critical and received many awards so definitely I recommend its.
